To keep students updated on the emerging trends in the education system regular seminars are conducted by our faculty. Apart from this we also conduct guest lectures in which experts from across the state come in to share their knowledge on different streams and career options available. Special MHT-CET, JEE MAINS, JEE ADVANCE & NEET seminars are held which are open for all students of class XI & XII and their parents.
Quizzes & Competitions are a routine part of Ideal. Students are given an opportunity to conduct quizzes themselves by studying extensively and making presentations using the e-facilities provided. This not only strengthens their grasp over the subjects but also gives them an upper hand while using modern technology and tools. Quizzes and presentations also boost the children’s confidence and prepares them for the future presentations in their college years.
“Work for a cause, not applause”. Students are the future of our country and we at Ideal recognize the importance of social services in a student’s life, as it fills them with enthusiasm to make our country a better place. Cleaning NMC grounds, blood donation camps, donating clothes and books to the underprivileged are just some of the many efforts Ideal has taken to work for social causes. In 2019 Ideal organized a social internship program for its students in which students were ported to nearby villages to understand their lifestyle and find out ways in which they can be helped. This created a sense of gratitude in the young minds.
“Students often report that happiness or positive feelings like enjoyment or fun promote learning”. So in the month of February every year a one-day picnic for all our class XI students is arranged where the emphasis is on going back into the woods and understanding and experiencing nature to its core.
Today, gadgets have become an indispensable part of our lives, resulting in greater amounts of e-waste generated which can be harmful if not properly managed. To create awareness regarding management of e-waste, a competition was held where students got a chance to show their creative side by making different decorative using e-waste. The Lord Ganesha at the entrance of Ideal is a classic example of the same.
Solar energy being a major renewable energy source has the potential to meet many of the challenges facing the world. Bearing this in mind, our director Mr. Vineet Pingle along with our ex-Idealites Mast. Anish Joshi and 20 other students successfully designed and implemented the solar power generation plant at Ideal, in collaboration with Sanraj electricals headed by Mr Santosh Zalte. Since 2017 this plant is into a grid tie up with the MSEB. This has helped bring about awareness to the students and their families.
